Met the challenge of a dinner party!

My husband and I like to entertain and cook for our relatives and friends. Last night we had a dinner party at our home and I managed to stay on track with my nutrtion plan by weighing and measuring everything that went on my plate. I am a pastry chef by trade and usually i produce some special dessert. Instead, I made a fresh fruit salad and gave those who still had a sweet tooth the option of a dessert wine with the fruit. Well, no one even noticed the difference even though the food had been prepared with less salt and fat than usual.Planning and execution made the difference and I am proud that I have taken our foodie get togethers in a new healthy direction.
