Beginning to look ahead, at last!

Friday, May 13, 2011

Hi all, sorry for the anguish that I've been causing you great people of late.
I have been totally out of control and have been so confused by everything that has happened.

I am trying to get back on track with exercise and nutrition, and am hoping to back good the missing time on here.

I want to get back into leading the team that I love on here, and meeting up with some of you in the near future at various meetings around the country.

I have been busy this week in the garden, planting Runner Beans, Peas, 3 types of Carrot, Parsnips, Onions, lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Peppers, Water Melons and Pumpkins. Plus, tending to the Strawberries, Gooseberries, Herbs and all of my fruit trees!
I see this growth as my new life, as it is for each of these precious gems growing out there!

Thank you for all of your support and words of kindness, I will be hoping to give something back to help others that face the difficulties of life and weight issues, so expect to see me around again!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Chris.

So glad to hear you are back in the garden Chris! Its good to hear from you in a blog!
I have not put my runner beans in the garden yet, but they are already about 2 ft tall. I have been worried about the frost as we have had some lately. Got my tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers in the greenhouse and lettuces getting quite big. Have put out a marrow and courgette, but cover them at night at the moment. Is it OK to put my runner beans in the garden now? Hope you have a good weekend! Glad to hear you are doing better! Hope Claire and the boys are well!

Lovely to hear from you on here and so glad you're feeling more positive. What a lovely lot of stuff growing in your garden. We've got gooseberries, raspberries, rhubarb and apple and plum trees, all courtesy of my father who planted them about 30 years ago! Still going strong, apart from the rhubarb which seems to be on its last legs!
As the others have said, look after yourself first and let us support you for a change. xx

Chris, I will have to come visit your garden some time this summer when you are ready for the harvest! Actually I am too far away, so I will probably just have to enjoy pictures! So good to hear the positive tone in your voice. Have a nice weekend. emoticon
