50 pound line

A quick update- today I am officially down 50 pounds from my last pregnancy appointment exactly 8 weeks ago. This leaves about 12 pounds until my pre-pregnancy weight. Of course, at the time I got pregnant, I was in the process of losing weight, so I'm not stopping in 12 pounds.

It's been my experience before that making big weight loss goals is just a source of frustration for me. So while an ideal weight for me would be another 50 pounds off, I'm going to break it up some. I just want to focus on he next 20 right now. I'll be realistic. August 1 I'd like to have lost that 20.

I've been increasing my jog time recently too. I'm determined to do the same 5k I did last year on the 4th of July in the same time (or faster would be acceptable too). I'd like to put on my plate a 10k before the end of the year too.

I think my determination will help keep me on track once I go back to work, which is this Tuesday, the 17th. I have a daily plan for doing all I need/should do. But I won't update on that until I know that it will work for us.
