I've been fighting a cold for a couple of weeks, not bad but just bothersome.
So, I didn't feel like putting my all into exercises, and it's been a week or so since I jogged for 3 plus miles. I had a bad morning today. And when things settled down I wanted to eat.
Which is normally where I would choose something not so good for me and eat way too much of it.
With out thinking, I opened the pantry, and looked inside. Then with a quick thought that I didn't need to do that, I stopped and got some water, and then went and Sparked some.
After some encouraging Sparking, I grabbed a banana and finished 2 glasses of water!
I then went and jogged!

I jogged 3 miles in 45 min and jogged/walked 15 more min. well over 3.5 miles! (Even with having this annoying cough)
After returning, I drank 2 more glases of water and ate some more fruit and nuts! Then logged back onto SP and saw this comment on my Spark page from CIVIAV:
You must be a runner indeed to be using running for stress relief! Woohoo!
Then I realized I ate well, (under stress) without too much ado, and I jogged to relieve stress, and didn't have any problems starting back even after missing a week of long jogs. I've been on SP for a year and half and I've lost 20 lbs and I'm running races (never could before), and seeing so many positive changes, (especially when a SP friend points it out)! Thanks SP for all the changes you have helped me make.
