Still losing weight.

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

For those of you who are against HCG, let me tell you that I kept the weight off, even when I went back to eating normally. I'm doing another round right now and it's easier than before, especially since I know it will stay off and it's not just a crash diet. I'm also exercising more this time.

My problem? Still a food addict. I actually ate so much between rounds that I gained back a few pounds, but certainly not all and certainly nothing of any serious consequence. However, I really need to master eating healthy and exercising in general. This HCG business is really just a jump start to help build my confidence and get me into the right mindset.

So just to fill you in on what I've been up to:
1. School has been intense and this is my last week of the semester. I get my Deaf Studies Certificate now, and then enter the full immersion interpreter program next semester. This is more exciting to me than I can possibly tell you.

2. I got a new dog and he's so cute. I have one more reason to walk several times a day since I don't have a backyard for my three dogs. And I do walk them... often.

Wow, really? That's all I have to tell you?

Oh yeah, I've been uploading videos of me signing onto youtube because that's how our teacher grades our assignments. If you are interested in seeing me sign, you can log on to youtube and look me up. I'm TKOBANGS! My latest video is a comedy.

Anyway, I hope you all are doing well. I'm at 196.8 today and am starting to get excited about the possibility of saying goodbye to the 190's soon. I never thought I'd make it to One-derland, but I did. And I can keep going, I just know it!!

Love to you all!!

Wow, you are doing so great!! I am so glad that you checked back in. I started on the Atkins after HCG. I was kind of eating like it on HCG anyway. Loved HCG, now on to something new. You are dropping weight so nicely. Congratulations!!

I am not against people using homeopathic HCG if they use it as a supplement along with a clean eating, or healthy eating program. What I am against is people using it with the 500 calorie Simeons protocol, which has made some friends of mine ill. Right now, a friends of mine is having to go to the eye doctor to see if there's any way to restore his vision because he didn't get enough Omega 3 from healthy fats on account of "sticking to protocol."

While some people seem to be able to do HCG on 500 calories, without any major problems, there is no guarantee they are not causing damage to their health that will show up later. It all depends on the health issues you have before you go on the protocol, but based on the experiences of people I know, I could not recommend it. Nearly everyone I know that did it, even those who felt great while they were doing HCG, regained most, if not all of the weight back once they finished the diet.

The HCG diet is greatly over-hyped and if anything, should only be done as a last resort under close medical supervision.

Wow, that is just great. I like the way you phrased it, say goodbye to the 190s, and then you can say goodbye to the 180's. You have a great writing style.
