Best Laid Plans

I had listed certain goals this week and till Saturday had met them. But, the weekend came. First of all for a number of reasons Mother's Day for me and my daughter was 'celebrated ' on Saturday Unfortunately my daughter while she serves my 2 year old granddaughter fruits and vegetables there were not for me. So with the hamburgers the only side was potato salad which is one of my favorite foods I ate too much of that Then my son-in-law made ice cream and it was yummy so had an extra serving. Unfortunately on the way down hubby saw a sign for DQ and asked if wanted to stop That was another mistake but did a good job of ordering a dip cone instead of a blizzard another favorite

Yesterday Mother's Day was a tough day for me for a number of reasons so woke up feeling very sorry for me I did go to Caribou Coffee and ordered a Northern Lite. Decided to treat my self to short bread Ate and drank all while reading the Sunday paper which was a special treat.

Later on I did exercise but then when I went out to do errands went down the road which has every fast food imaginable Having not had lunch had to stop at Five Guys. I did order a small cheeseburger but, ordered their marvelous fries which comes in one size HUGE

So today while down it was minimal and my goal was one pound. So again this week I have set a plan with definite goals each day I should follow it and then next week I'll be another pound lighter.

    Congrats on your loss!!!!

Weekends are my downfall also! The structure of the workweek completely crumbles in 2 days, and I go WAY off the reservation with the meal and exercise schedule!

The good news is - this isn't a DIET - it's a LIFESTYLE. Life happens, so when things don't go as planned, you have to forgive yourself and pick up right where you left off. Perhaps analyze the choices you did make, decide how you could have made better choices, so that next time you're in a similar situation, you'll already have that new plan in mind.

I hear you - I went over on the week-end in spite of planning ahead. But today is another day, and a new start, so I'm tracking carefully, exercising, and making sure I drink my quota of water. Hope you have a great week. emoticon

Holidays are hard sometimes and it sounds like you did some emotional eating. We all do it but that was yesterday. Reset your goals and keep on keeping!!
