Better Late Than Never...

I know, it's Sunday... I committed to writing a blog every Saturday, and weighing in. This weekend has been pretty crazy though. Friday night we packed up and headed for Ottawa - it's about a 3 hour trip there. We stayed the night with my husband's Aunt and Cousin who we haven't seen in a few years. It was super awesome seeing them, and the lil' ones. We didn't get home again until Saturday night and I was exhausted from driving so I didn't log in. I did have a bit of an "off" weekend - pizza, Beaver Tail (pastry). But I'm not going to fret over this! OH! I even packed some weights, my Spark book, and a Women's Health magazine for our trip! My husband kinda chuckled when I pulled out a dumbbell during the drive up and started doing some curls. It was a good chuckle though, more or less feeling proud of all the changes. Love it! This week I did alright in moving towards my goals. I did find Onederland - which I'm stoked about. I am blogging (albeit a day late). I did track my cals for each day - with the exception of Friday / Saturday. I have been working out. Gosh, my thighs finally recovered from the "Power Sculpt" video I put them through on Monday. I'm feeling good. In control. Happy. I'm taking my vitamin, drinking my water... can't underestimate the power of even these smallest day to day health trends. I'm not sure what more to say... I'm right in the middle of making dinner tonight and trying to get caught up on laundry. It's also my hubby's birthday today - so trying to take good care of him. :)
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MY WONDERFUL SPARK FRIENDS WHO ARE MOMS - in any sense of the word - bio-mom, step-mom, role model, foster mom... You all deserve big hugs, and lots of love today and every day. xoxo
