GRRRRR two flats

So I got up early Saturday and decided to bike to my Grandsons soccer game then after the game we were going to bike another 25 miles or so.
Riding right by the entrance to the soccer fields( about 2 miles from my house) there were majot pot holes and ruts in the road, I tried to avoid them but ended up in the rut, you have to remember Ct. does a Shi**y job of fixing any state roads ...
Anyways i heard air hissing out of my front tire, I started to change the tire and punctured my new tube while putting it in..
Had to get a ride back to my house to pick up my car so I could get to the bike shop to buy a new tube.
I ended up buying 2 new tubes, one to replace the punctured one and one to have as a spare.
However when i took the bike out of the back of my Envoy the back tire was flat.
I finally got both fixed but was too late to head back out to ride as we had plans for the afternoon at my other grandsons baseball game..
Ended getting to his game (by car) and after about 15 minutes the skies opened up with lightening and thunder. Sometimes all you can do is laugh..
