Happy Mother's Day! (for ALL women)

Saturday, May 07, 2011

Dear SparkFriends, I truly wish that I could visit everyone's page tonight and leave you a Mother's Day treat, but there just isn't enough time right now. emoticon So I will say from the bottom of my heart- I pray that you will feel more loved than ever on your special day!!! Remember, most of what you do as a mother seems invisible and unnoticed, but it matters (my family has taken to calling me a fairy because things get done magically)
The things you do matters to people you will never know for generations to come. Our Heavenly Father sees all that you do and knows the sacrifices you have made. He knows when you don't get the credit you deserve, but He logs it all down. You make Him proud each time you serve your family(or anyone) out of love. I have a small trophy beside my bed which reads "I am a Trophy of Grace". There's a lot to that story, but the trophy serves to remind me that my life can be something to make the Lord smile and say to Himself "Look what I made".

For those without children of your own, have no doubt my Friend, you are, can be, and will be "mothering" someone in your life. We women have a very special privelege in mothering and a capacity to love that defies logic. What a treasure we have been given because God created us and knew we could handle it.
emoticon and Prayers!!! Happy Mother's Day to all of you sweet Ladies!

Mine was pretty special... a great church service followed by my 17 yr old and young lady treating my hubby and I to dinner out. It was awesome. I hope you had a great Mother's Day as well.

Love it!! I have an aunt who never had children. My sisters and I have always included her in our MD wishes as she has always been such a big part of our life. Actually, I'm spending tomorrow with both my Mom and Aunt!
