Spring 5% Challenge - Day 1

Okay, so I've joined this challenge to lose 5% of my weight in 8 weeks. I know there are many aspects to the challenge, and I'm ready, set, go.. But I've got to admit, as my mailbox fills up with sparkmails and notifications of new threads and I read all these posts that say don't respond here, post in another thread and then can't quite figure out what I'm supposed to do or where I'm supposed to do it, I am a bit confused, and I am wondering, "what the he!! have I gotten myself into??"

Now, I'm sure this will all sort itself out, and heck, if I manage to lose 13 lbs by the 4th of July, I'll be screaming from the rooftops...but as of right now, I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed. So I think I'll just go workout..that's probably a good place to start..

Here's to day 1!!

    There are really only a couple threads you'll need to pay attention to...the weekly weigh-in and the daily points for your team goal. The rest you can do with as you please!

    I love that your response to being overwhelmed was to go workout. I think you are going to great. Try not to let it overwhelm you, the first week always has some kinks. By week 2 everyone seems to have the process down and it won't be so confusing. emoticon

    I was also going to suggest unsubscribing to the notifications. That always happened to me when I'd sign up for the Bootcamp challenges. People miss the post that says don't create new posts and it loads up everyone's email accounts. You can do it Tina! Maybe this is the boost that you need!

    The challenges aren't as complicated as the emails appear... you will get used to the format pretty quickly :) They are an awesome way to focus on specific habits and 5% is so doable. Good luck!

    emoticon just unsubscribe on the mails with the notifications, it's not so hard!take it easy , you'll manage somehow. and don't forget it's supposed to be fun. as for me I'm happily sparking just to keep me away from I really should do aka study for an exam.
