this crazy life.... please pray

Friday, May 06, 2011

My crazy life, just when I think ok my last class is Tuesday, I have a week off and then I start my last class on-line to finish my degree in July.... life will slow down a little and I can take a deep breath and possibly enjoy summer!

My daughter fell and hit her head, she has a severe concussion. Dizziness, nausea, headache, and her brain is swollen. She may have to go back to the hospital. I picked up Vaughn yesterday, her youngest, he is 2... she kept Adam who is 3... as he decided to eat a tulip this week and was also in the hospital - tulips are toxic to humans. He is still not doing very well.

My parents have decided to move... an hour and 20 mins away... I help them once a week..sometimes twice.. this will make it almost impossible... my sister who has only been involved with helping them for the past two years, made the decision to move them... took them to this place that is the RITZ and they cannot afford..but she is going to help financially for the 1st 3 months...ect ect ect... any ways I have been taking care of mom and dad for 20 + years, I will MISS going over there weekly. With the gas prices and the drive - well the drive alone - I cannot commit to the weekly thing. I do have to take care of my kidney health.

My dad-in-law has cancer back, his kidneys are not have all of the details yet... and his blood work showed something wrong with his blood..again waiting for more info.

I have finals Tuesday... and MY son is coming home from California for a visit...woohoo! He will be here for 7 days. He comes home about every two years.

I am counting my blessings and praying for God's grace for my family.

God Bless you all!
Happy Mother's Day!

Wow, that IS a lot on your plate. But you don't have to do it alone.

I'm so sorry about your parents moving away. Mine are 40 minutes from me and even that is too far! I don't know your sister's motivation, but hopefully this will help her grow closer to your parents, and take some of the burden off your shoulders.

Remember Philippians 4:13--"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me". I have to remind myself of that, sometimes several times a day. Cast your cares on Him!!

I once heard a minister summarize Jesus' statement written in John 16:33 as "trouble today, trouble tomorrow". The best part is that Jesus has overcome whatever we face in this world. You and your family will because He lives. emoticon

I say your call for prayer on my friends' feed and popped in. God is more than able, and I am laying this before His throne with you.

    Hugs and blessings to you,

Wow, you have been given many burdens to handle, haven't you? But your positive attitude will help you work things out. Prayers offered for your and your family's health. Stay upbeat and keep the faith. emoticon -- Lou

My goodness! We sometimes wonder how we can make it until we hear about someone else who is handling as much or more.

I'm sending you thoughts and prayers to hopefully lift you through the coming weeks.
