Get Your Head Out of That Dark Place!

Tuesday, May 03, 2011

Today I spent my morning feeling guilty about feeling way better than I should about the death of Osama. Then I remembered that he is with God and he will know what he was supposed to do or not supposed to do. Every time I make a judgement I have to remember that judgements are not mine to make!

I also read a quote that I read every day that makes me remember who's fault it is when something happens and who has to be responsible for their own actions. All of us - and this may not hit you the same way it always does me but -

If you are not as close to God as you used to be, remember who moved! Source Unknown.
It makes me remember who is always responsible for not remembering who and where God is and that no matter what I do - I do not have strength without Him.

Amen! Plus, God promised us that he would never leave us nor forsake us. That means, we move not Him. Plus, when something happens, example 9/11, it is in God's will that it happened and not ours. I'm glad he is dead too but it will not bring back the lives that were lost that day. It only gives us hope and that is something this county needs!

I too felt a bit guilty about being glad that he was no longer on this earth but then I also thought about all the people he had killed and terrorized. He will stand before God and Jesus and be judged, and I don't really think he will like how he will be judged.
