Calorie Intake Update

So last week I set a new workout schedule for myself and updated my fitness goals. Some of you read that SP raised my calorie intake. This past Saturday finished out a full week with the new workout plan and new calorie intake. I did lose 1 pound, but I never felt like I was burning it. I don't know how else to say it... When I'm eating right and working out, it's like my whole body is geared differently. I think differently, feel different, act different.
So anyway, the new workout schedule is working great for me. I feel like I'm making progress. My calorie intake has been reset. Turns out, I hadn't changed the weight goal in the correct place. So the program was setting my calorie intake for someone who didn't have anything else to lose. I still had 4 pounds to lose. My calorie ranges is now back to 1200-1550.
I like this range much more. It's easier to eat right and stay in that range ( she says after 5 months of doing it). Now I have 3 pounds to go!!! I'm really liking my new workout schedule. In the mornings, I do 30 minutes of strength training and cardio. In the evenings, I'm doing another 30(sometimes 45) minutes. It FEELS easier to work into my day. Plus my mind and body get "reminded" twice a day instead of once.
I guess that's all to this update. I'm starting to gear up for vacation in 10 days- emoticon
We've been surrounded by flood waters since Sunday morning. All roads leading into town have been under water more than once in the past two days, but the sun is due tomorrow.

    emoticon blog, Roxanne. I am really interested in your update on your calorie range. Mine is the same as yours now at around 1200-1550. Usually closer to 1200-1300, sometimes it goes a little higher. But I do good to lose about 1/2 pound a week. Also I don't do as much exercise. How did you work out your workout schedule? I know our age difference does make a difference in metabolism, etc. Anyway, I'm so proud of all you do---
    Please take care with all the flooding going on there. It seems to keep raining here, but soon it will get better, I know. Are you familiar with the Hot Springs area? Maybe we are not so far apart... emoticon
    YAY for only 3 pounds to go....same as me. emoticon
