Can't find my Mojo!!!! Just don't wanna but know I need to!!!

Well here it is May 2nd and things have been crazy hectic in my life. My man has been sick with the flu for 2 weeks, had to take him to the ER last week, this threw me completely off. emoticon

I am having trouble getting into the groove of things. It doesn't help that now it's that TOM for me, so I really don't feel like working out. I must say that I have kind of eased my mind with not wanting to please others. I have decided that either people will love me or just not like me but I am not going to kill muyself trying to get in shape to please others.

I am anxious & nervous about my trip to Chicago at the end of June emoticon If I could lose about 8 pounds I think I would be happy. I can't lose a ton of weight by then but I can't even seem to find my MOJO!!!!! I don't wanna workout but I know I need to.. The best time would be for me to workout before work but I just been lazy & sleeping in. So I am going to have to DIG VERY, VERY DEEP!!

Whew, just needed to get that out..LOL..

    Oh I know exactly how you feel! I thought that once school ended last week I would have all this time to work out and cook meals for the week so I'd stay on track and what have I done? NOTHING!

    when there's been a major illness in the home, especially one that involves difficulty breathing and muscle aches, exercise can seem overwhelming. But our bodies are made to move, and your mojo is still there, inside. Let it out for some fresh air with a morning walk to start each day and you'll be ready to tackle the world! emoticon

    This could not have come at a better time. I feel myself just slipping back into my old ways. I am taking small steps to get my goals accomplished. You can do it, you will find your mojo in your own time and it will fit you comfortably!!!

    I know how you feel about just saying.. The heck with pleasing other's.. You have to please yourself first, you have to put yourself in the first lane and take your time in going. The mojo is going to spark up within you..

    There once was a time.. I had to drag myself kicking, cussing, and B-ing out of the bed to get a workout in, and when I get like that.. Shoot girl.. It's hard to get back in the swing of things or even kick your leg up so you can get on the horse, but you find that power and you do it.. Little is greater in most cases, and when you do little, you will find yourself building up every pound you lose.

    Set mini goals for yourself.
    1 pound mini goals.. Weekly!
    I know.. It's all a hard game to play, but you play it..
    It's all mental.. Just don't do any mental damage trying to get there..

    I've played that game for years..
    I'm losing for so and so.
    I'm made a promise to my parents..
    What about "LYNN" you know?
    I had to start saying. What do I want!
    It all will click.. Just keep pushing forward..
    Even if it just start with eating habits..
    It will happen.. 5-8-10 what ever you seek will happen for you..

    Mojos are sneaky little creatures aren't! I have to agree with the others, take that walk and look for your MOJO and put it back where it you! The power is in you to do great things...GO FOR IT! emoticon emoticon

    I agree tried something simple like just walking for 10 min. Or if you can afford it buy a wii for you and the kid. I belive without the wii I wouldn;t exercise al all anyomore. It just so much fun,.

    Cassandra ~ Go out walking and look for your Mojo. Even 15 minutes! You are a great Team Leader. You have always been there for me when I needed words of encouragement. So please, pick up an apple and a veggie when you go to the store, and park a little further away :) . YOU CAN DO IT!

    I know that lost mojo feeling! I have spent the last few weeks eating WAY too much. Yesterday, I got back on track. Second day. I hope I do this!

    What's in Chicago? Vacation? Business? (I live in a suburb of Chicago. The weather is finally getting nice.)

    Try adjusting your bedtime, go an hour earlier and set your alarm to give you plenty of time. Once you get up and do something, even if it walking on tread mill or in the neighborhood - you will find your mojo. Will energize you for the day. Think if you don't keep moving, it can and will lead to not being able to do so and you do not want that!!! Voice of experience here. Just walking in the house is tough, doing simple chores - major effort and tough breathing. I thank God every day that I am able to do that because for 18 months I could NOT - that is not a good feeling. Stay well, stay out of accidents and gets that booty moving. Your MOJO is there, just hiding to let you be lazy. Go Girl! You can do it.

    Maybe you need to change the type of workouts you are doing. If you aren't having fun then try something new. Can you walk around the neighborhood after work? Look for something new and hopefully that is where your MOJO will be hiding. emoticon Diva Sister!

    Ok here is what you do. Give yourself till the end of tom. Exercise when you want during this time. Then take a deep breath reorganize yourself and your thoughts. Give yourself a goal with a reward. It doesn't have to be a weight goal. I find if i make it a fitness goal the pounds come off by themselves.

    Like for april, I made a printable calendar and set the goal of working out no less than 3 days a week. It didn't matter what days as long as there was 3 days during the week. If i did all 3 days every week i get my tattoo redone. You know what, i did do the exercise 3x during a week and i get my tattoo. Ontop of that i lost 9 lbs over april.

    Maybe looking at it this way will help you get your mojo back.

    Sounds like me exactly.... too many things pop up in the evening so I know I need to get my butt up but dang that bed be feeling so good.
