Bunny Farm

So, the wind was a little too severe to ride today, but according to the weather forecast, after the rains blow through tonight, I may be able to ride tomorrow. And, after all the rain we had, I really needed to cut the grass. Or at least that was what my wife has told me for the last 3 days.

This is the same process that I've done for years in locales all over the place: Walk back and forth across the yard, pushing the lawn mower.

 And this wasn't any different than any other time, until I got out back in the back corner of the yard. I wasn't really paying much attention, I've cut the grass hundreds of times. But as I was moving through that back corner, I saw movement in the grass in front of me: 3 baby bunnies were racing off in all different directions!!! Where they came from I have no idea: They weren't there last Saturday when I cut the grass! As soon as I'd get them chased out of the yard so I could get back to the mower, they were moving back into the yard. Fortunately, I was just about done. What a sight it must have been, watching me chasing these dang bunnies out of the yard!!!
