Food......don't make it the substitute

Food for for so many others, is a reason to celebrate....a salve for when times were stressful or sad. Heck I would overindulge when I was bored. But I am reprogramming myself. I refuse to give myself permission to overeat or the excuse to eat things that are not good for me.

So, if I get upset the best thing to do is call friend or write a blog. If I want to celebrate I will buy myself a new shirt or some cosmetics. If I'm bored, I'm going for a walk. This is my sixteenth week. I have lost 56 pounds so far. I am making progress :)
