8 weeks already?!

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

I was surprised this morning when I counted the weeks and realized that I have been at this for 8 weeks. I'm surprised because I still feel motivated and positive about working on my new healthy lifestyle, and I have not been crossing off the days on the calendar like I'm enduring a prison sentence. I have lost weight, inches, and increased my energy. In my previous attempts to get fit I would have been splashing around in a bowl of dip by now and hanging laundry on my treadmill. Not this time. Now I'm splashing around in a bowl of fruit and running (jogging actually) 19 straight minutes on the treadmill. (A huge accomplishment for me). Here's to another 8 weeks!

You've really been seeing some impressive results! I agree that it's surprising how this doesn't feel like something that you have to "endure". I think that before SP, the longest I've ever stayed on a diet was, say, three days? So glad to hear that your motivation is still strong. It gives me even more confidence that this really works. emoticon

ATTAGIRL! WOO HOO! I'm so proud of you, and happy for you, I'm doing the happy dance on my Lay-Z-Boy chair. I think my husband just called in my reservations for a rubber room, but what the heck.....

    Nice feeling, isn't it?
