Hi Folks!

I have been somewhat pre-occupied with my problems of late and have since realising where I'm at the moment.

I HAVE been so appreciative of all the vast number of personal supporters of my recent problems. OK, the problems are all still around me but, the medication seems to be taking hold, and lifting me to a "normal" state of mind, as do all the kind and valued messages fro you all!

I am about to embark on a "IAPT" (Improving Access to Psychological Therapy) course, which may help to address my problems.

I have also been given a referral to the Gym that I used to attend and am looking forward to "giving it a go!" again!

I just want to thank those who took the time to send me messages of well being and good wishes.

I still have a "way" to go, but hey!?

    So glad to see you back on here. We were away for the Easter week and the promised wi-fi connection did't materialise. I didn't miss the internet(it was quite liberating without it!) but it did mean I couldn't check on here to see if you'd blogged. You see, that's the sort of influence you have on us!! So glad that you're beginning to feel more "back to normal" hope the course and the gym helps. Keep in touch.....please! emoticon

    I have not read your previous blogs, but I have great things to say about exercise and mental health. I gave up exercising one time for a 2-week period and I went into a serious "funk" and when my adult daughter saw the correlation I went back to exercising again and it took less than 1 week to feel so much better. I may have actually starting feeling better within a couple of days so it sounds like you're on "the right track" with getting into an exercise program. Hope your meds help, too. emoticon
