Why does the scale say I gained weight?

So I have had an Awesome week.... I havent had more than 1800 cals on any day and havent missed a day of atleast an hours worth of cardio exercise, shich resulted in a weight loss of 6.6lbs ... until I stepped on the scale and it said I gained 2.9lbs of that back!!!! I can not figure out what has caused this gain!! Im hoping that it has something to do with bloating due to it being nearly time for my cycle... any thoughts? has this happened to any of you? how did it turn out?
