Challenge Week 1 weigh-in

This is week one and it has actually been 10 days since the original weigh-in. Down 7.2 pounds. Seems drastic for 10 days, but I gave up my 2 Cokes a day and dessert that in itself was a major feat. I am also well aware that the weeks ahead will not always be so victorious. This past week as not been filled with trips to the gym, in fact little activity at all. After I "fell off the wagon" so to speak I was still eating fairly healthy so it was not hard to get back to eating right. "SNOW" tends to help me lose my motivation to get out to the gym. I would rather curl up on the couch with my honey.

New strategy for the coming 11 weeks it to get to the gym, continue to log food, eat healthy, stay off the caffeine and desserts. I will be lucky to lose 2 pounds a week. If I were to keep losing at the rate of 7 pounds a week I would lose waaaaaaay more than I would need and of course would gain it all back in a heartbeat. Slow and steady wins the race.
