Over the past couple of weeks I have not been on here as much as I would have liked.
This week, we decided that it would be beneficial to have a week off from the gym, just to give our bodies a much needed break. Plus gave me chance to get some early nights to catch up on some shut eye. It has certainly felt strange not going to the gym and especially on a weights night I have wanted to go. But the rest has done my body some good so am looking forward to getting back to it tomorrow.
My frind Hannah, has just been around to give me a massage, she is a trainee osteopath and a sports massage therapist! She did some work on my legs. I thought they were fine but OMG there were some big ass nots in there. It was unbelievable, the pain in my hams, quads and calfs! We also did some rotation exercisies on my hips as they have been a bit tight! I should really take up horse riding again!
My diet has been ok, I am working along the lines of the diet formula that dr Barry Sears wrote in Mastering the Zone. I will blog about this seperately. But so far not going too badly. So am going to stick with it for a while, see how it goes.
I can not believe that it is April already, how mad is that! The weather is looking, had two bbq's in 2 days! Woo hoo. Went for a walk yesterday in some beautiful gardens. The sun was really warm on my face and we just took our time and wondered through the gardens and in the woods. It was gorgeous and very relaxing!
It is amazing how much the sun can lift your mood and can make everything seem that bit better.
Just gotta keep going, train hard and eat right and it will all workout!
