Sorry, as I was commenting on one dear Friends page, I realized how good I have gotten at cooking "bad" and still keeping myself on track. Don't get on to me... I don't cook "bad" very often anymore.
BUT I have learned how to serve up fried chicken and all the fixins' without blowing my plan. Yes, I'll splurge and have a piece of fried chicken, but then I'll eat a salad and bread instead of heavier potatoes and gravy.
So apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks because if I can learn to pass up the mac-n- cheese ANYBODY can do it.
And cookies and snacks- Please, I crave grapes and oranges now. When I need unsweet snacks, walnuts and low fat cheddar slices have been working wonderful for me.
