In a funk

I have been so out of the mood to exercise it is not even funny. I think part of it is the fact that we are getting ready to move and all the stress is just weighing me down. I have been very lucky to not gain any weight during this stressful time, but I have not lost any either, I seem to be stuck between 160-163 and it is starting to get very frustrating. I just do not know what I should be doing, I have thought about walking in either the morning or the evenings but I have yet to do it. I have been suffering from some pretty bad headaches and not sleeping well either and I think it is just snowballing into more bad health problems. I am just so stressed out.

    Thanks for all the encouragement everyone! We have arrived in Germany and we are waiting to get housing but in the interim I have been walking at least 30 minutes a day (we have no car) so we are just walking around the base to the commissary and back to the hotel. I cannot wait to get into housing and go walking with the friends I have already made here. I always appreciate the advice and encouraging words I get from you all Thank you!

    Do you have a music player? Like an mp3 player or ipod? Music always gets me motivated to get moving. I turn it on and dance around the house cleaning. If you have packing to do it might help get you moving doing that even. :)

    Do all the little things I'm sure you've read and hear about how to deal with so much stress. And exercise is one of them. Plus you do need to get enough sleep. Going to bed and getting up on a schedule works wonders. I can sympathize with you on the staying the say weight no matter what you do. I stay between 151-153 and I've been this way for a month. I've increased exercise, I've decreased food intake. But I have also heard if you increase exercise, you should increase food intake a little. Maybe you should try that for a while. Hope this helps. emoticon
