Trying to keep going through rock bottom

Thursday, April 14, 2011

I am going through an extreme low point in my life. It`s like daily anixty over work, I`ve only been able to find part time work and you know I don`t think I can continue doing this for a year. So I should just go back right? Then what about my bf...the bf which has been pretty absent during this increadibly hard time so maybe he just can`t give the support I I want someone who sees me more than once or twice a month. No cat or bf I`d be packing already.

Anyway, I`ve been finding comfort as I agonize over my failure of a life at the bottom of a bag of chips. I`m worried about undoing all the good work from last year. I want to get back. Today I`ve started tracking, and we`ll see if I can start running again tomorrow or next week.

You sound very sad right now - but you know what? You CAN take control back. I visited your sparkpage and WOW, you are a very beautiful girl... not to mention the success you have had with your weight loss. As one who is struggling to lose weight, you are an inspiration to me! You may be going through a low point in your life for the moment, but it will pass. You already know in your heart what you want to do - keep believing in YOU!

P.S. Chips and junk are NOT our friends .. LOL

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time. I too struggle with emotional eating and I'm really trying to work on that. Usually indulging in chips or whatever does not make me feel better after all. Exercise is a natural anti depressant so I think it's great that you're going to start running again.

I'm concerned about your lack of support wrt bf.....You know, there ARE worse things in life than being single - just sayin'......if there are others close by who can give you the support you need, this may be the better route to take.....

I'm also going through a rough time myself - with other issues, but still, that feeling of being at rock-bottom is absolutely horrible, for sure......

Hang in there - and kick those chips to the curb!

hi gtkarla, sounds all too familiar.
there are so many articles on this site that could get you up and running again, check out 'motivation, wellness,... ' for articles on thinking positive or how to stop thinking negative; myths about happiness, etc etc, no end to it.
check out your wishes for your life, where you want to be in 10 yrs' time.
set yourself long-term, medium-term and very small term goals, figure out how to mark them along the way, set up a system of rewards...
as for work, remember, the whole world is different now (computer has changed everything!), but our way of thinking hasn't changed much. you have to adapt.
you gotta find the energy somewhere, and the bottom of a bag of chips is not the place to be looking.
