Living with Fibromyalgia: Run!

I ran today....I actually ran! I was nervous at first and almost didn't try it but on the treadmill I bumped it up to 4.5 and ran (jogged) for 30 seconds! I then did 30 sec run/1 min walk intervals for another 20 minutes! I NEVER thought I would be able to do that again.
I really can become the person I was, as long as I keep it slow and easy.
Joining a gym has been an eye opener for me. For the longest time I sat around letting my Fibro eat me away while I was eating away my days out of depression and pain. Now I can see the old me breaking it's shell and popping out. I CAN lift weights; I CAN run in small bursts; I CAN do anything!
It's a lesson for anyone. We can all get to where we want to go as long as we remember to take the baby steps to get there. There's no need to rush. In the end the result is the same...a stronger, healthier me or you!
