OGT&H: Days 31 (4/7) through 36 (4/12)

(AKA) Operation Get Thin and Healthy: Days 31 through 36 (Thursday 4/7 through Tuesday 4/12). Until I reach my goals, I'm following the Eat to Live Plan and moving my body!
Confession time: My eating has been BAD and my exercise has been little or non-existent. I let my sinus infection be an excuse to get off plan. I’ve spiraled so far out of control that I’m having trouble getting back on. I know I’ve gained weight, but I’m afraid to get on the scale. My tight pants are enough evidence of my failure. I’m disgusted with myself. I’ve feel like a drug addict who has fallen off the wagon. My drug of choice is sugar.
On Sunday I went to a big health expo and the guest speaker was Bill Germanakos, winner of The Biggest Loser Season 4. He has gained some weight back since the season 4 finale, but he is still half the man he was when he first came to the show. He was very inspiring to listen to. He said that 5 things are the key to achieving any goal: inspiration, motivation, education, dedication, and perspiration. He said if you are missing any one of those you won’t achieve your goal. Right now I’m missing several of those. I need to fix that.
My eating and sleeping have been all over the place. I need to get back on a schedule: smoothie for breakfast, salad and fruit for lunch, healthy salad or cooked vegan dish and fruit for dinner. Other than losing weight, I need to get back on plan because my awful diet has been messing with my digestion and keeping me awake at night. I’ve felt like garbage and have zero energy. I need to get back on track with exercise too. I already feel so out of shape! I’m going to an x-biking class tomorrow. I’m praying I get through it!
I need to take Bill Germanakos’ advice. He said: “Plan Your Work – Work Your Plan.” My plan is in place, now I just need to go out and work it!
