lost 5.5 inches off my waist in 6 weeks!

Tuesday, April 12, 2011

Wow, I have lost 5.5 inches off my waist alone in the last 6 weeks!! I was wondering why my pants were falling off and I was looking for a belt. I haven't weighed myself lately and I have not done my measurements since March 1st, so this was just shocking to myself. I had to look at the tape twice and just stood there with a huge grin on my face!

Wow!

That was just on my waist!! The other measurements were not as dramatic, but they were also a loss. I guess all the painting and yard work that I have been doing is busting past some of the workouts that I could have been doing!

And with all of these strenuous hard work days, I have been sleeping like a dream too!
But best of all, even if I am sore at the end of the day, I am still able to get up the next day and function! This for me is new, and exciting. I guess the old saying is true-

" A body at rest, stays at rest - A body in motion, stays in motion"

Well, this body has rested long enough, it is time for me to move, move, move! And I am loving every bit of it!!! emoticon

SMILES to you. That is awesome. I wish I had started measuring. I did finally measure at the beginning of April, but haven't been able to do much work..and don't really want to measure again..but I will at some point. I just have to have opportunity to exercise. times have been tough.
