Short night's sleep

Monday, April 11, 2011

Good concert last night. I read when I came home and went to sleep late...woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep. 4 hours of sleep is just not enough for more diet coke than I like to drink today. I was a bit stressed with getting some errands done and going to the doctor. I had good news there...I am no longer morbidly obese. My weight has dropped and with it my BMI. She was thrilled. I told her I was in the DPP at the YMCA. She said she may have to recommend that to more people. She also confirmed what I already knew...I am pre-diabetic. My A1C hadn't been entered into the computer, so she entered it and confirmed what they told me at the Diabetes Prevention Program class....that yes I am pre-diabetic. Down 21 pounds according to their scale since January. Worked out on the recumbent bike and nu-step stair stepper today. Will do that again tomorrow and probably the rest of the week. Unable to get in the pool this week. Really miss it!! Well, guess that is my day in a nut shell!! is what you make of it!!

    yay for you......... emoticon emoticon
    so proud of your news.
Bad luck about the sleep though, i do know where you are coming from with it , because if i wake up after three i know i wont be able to get back to sleep again. I have now started looking for things to make a scrapbook of my life in years in the early hours of the morning to give myself something to focus on.
    keep up the good work
