Is this a test?

Patience is definitely not one of my virtues and so getting through this period of ZERO weight loss has been a real test for me.

I feel like i have been very dedicated the past month to eating healthier and moving more but the scale has not budged at all. I have never expereienced this before as in the past when I have put in the effort I have seen some results to help keep me motivated. I thought maybe it was just my bodies way of easing into my new habits but after last week and working hard and not seeing any results I have to say that I am very frustrated.

I am working to fight beyond this frustration though. I am going to continue to track my food, move more and think about ways I can help my body releive stress. I figure eventually, something has to happen.

    Zincker, you are right! We are much better off even if the scale doesn't budge and I am not going to give up. We will both figure out what works best for us.

    Antoinette, I wish this were true but I have also been tracking my measurements and no loss:-( But I definitely think the improvement in my well being is a positive.

    Wuakos, I think you are on toe something. I definitely don't get as much protein as perhaps I should. I am going to experiment this week with that and see what happens.

    I'm with you Kat. Experiencing the same thing. I keep telling myself that I'm still better off than going back to junk food and not moving. Better for my high blood pressure and cholestorol, heart, etc. It's about more than the number on the scale right?

    Don't give up, if you keep on, I will too!!

    Are you only tracking the scale? If you are working out you can be redistributing your body composition. Maybe you lost 3 lbs fat and gain some muscle. There are a million ways you can be making progress that wont show up on the scale too. You are doing great! keep it up, the scale will follow suite soon. :)

    Just hang on... Maybe is not the amount of calories but the kind It could be you need more protein or carbs. At the end the hard work will pay off.
