Starting to Exercise

Today I started exercising for the first time since I've started losing weight. We got a treadmill at my house last January but I don't think anyone has been using it. So, I decided to give it a try. It was great! I need to build up my stamina, but I know it won't take me long. I started out with one of the pre-programmed Trainer programs. Whew! After it kept changing the incline I said ENOUGH and switched to just the regular old fashioned treadmill walking! I've lost nearly 50 lbs and I cannot imagine what I would've been like before. I used to get a lot of exercise in at my old job. But, now that I am no longer there, I knew I needed to actually start a "real" exercise plan. So here I am!!
Tomorrow morning I go to my new job. I was digging through my closet trying to find some clothes to wear and came across a pair of slacks I bought the summer after graduating high school.........1997. They are tight, but I could button them!! I haven't been able to wear them since 1998. Ive always been pretty heavy. It was such a good feeling! The sad thing is that I've lost close to 50 lbs and I've only gone down one to two sizes. I was wearing about a 26/28 and now I can wear 24. I thought I'd be down to a 22 at least by now. Eck! But, its all good! At least I can get into the 24 now!!!!!!!!!!!
