Lifetime Momentum #24

Thursday, April 07, 2011

I haven't been sparking lately, and I haven't had any real success with my weight-loss since I've been silent. I find that the accountability I feel when I share my journey here is more motivating than anything else I've done. My life has been the proverbial roller coaster over the past two years and I feel as though my weight-loss effort has been nothing more than a trainwreck. I've come to the conclusion that I need to establish a genuine commitment to maintaining my presence on this site if I want success in my journey. To that point I am asking if anyone is willing to help keep me more accountable. If you are, then let me know. I need a couple of people that would be willing to call me to the carpet when I go AWOL for any amount of time. My motivation is high right now. I want to keep that going. I would be so grateful for anyone willing to help keep me on track.

I have a bad memory so I would not be much help but an I suggest that you write a blog every day with your stats on it. It can brief - just how many calories you ate, what kind of exercise and how much, your weight. It works for many of us.

    Hi DBalzer!

I can't be the one to make a daily commitment to help you stay on track, but I will tell you one of my secrets for getting support from other sparkers. Whenever i blog, i find 3 other blog entries to comment on, and often those people will give me some words of wisdom. And some of them keep checking on me without even asking.

    Just an idea!
