I was on track and doing really well, but I started going in a different direction. I didn't have time to track my food, and before I knew it the pounds started to creep up a little. I found that planning my food and actually tracking it the day before was working well-I think i'll try that again for the next week and see how it goes. I didn't always stick to the menu I had set for myself, but when i bought the candy from the vending machine, i added it to my tracker and took away the pudding cup i was going to have after dinner.
At least workouts have stayed consistent-I always set a monthly goal for myself and don't usually have trouble meeting that.

    I finally feel like I'm getting a handle on my sweet habit. I never really noticed that sweets caused such a cycle of wanting/eating more sweets, it was just part of my daily diet. I've been asking myself to not have any sweets just for today-each and every day. The longer I avoid my binge triggers, the less I am wanting them. On the few occasions I have had a treat in the past few weeks, I find that I have to really resist overindulging later. I had a piece of cake at my nephew's birthday party last weekend, and I had the urge to stop at a bakery on the way home and pick up something delicious for dessert. I did resist however, and we had fruit for dessert.
    I've been on this trend for the past 3 weeks, and suddenly the scale started moving again. I just wore a pair of pants that I could not zip last summer. Yay for me and SparkPeople!!!

    I think you found the first step... Hmmm, candy machine? My weakness used to be the really VERY nice people who would bring breakfast in, or maybe a box of girl scout cookies. I could not walk past them and not have 1 (okay, 3), now, I make myself a promise. If I wait until "x" (usually 3pm), I will have a cup of coffee. Love Dunkin's but I am a "cream" girl, so now, I'll have hazelnut, and skim milk, the rich taste of hazelnut almost makes me forget I have skim milk in it... You can do this... One step at a time!
