Have you ever had one of those moments that speak of how much your spouse loves you, without them saying a word? I have them all the time, but most recently was last night. I bought new curtains and rods for our master bedroom, and haven't had a chance to hang them up yet. I had a crazy busy day yesterday, and was a touch stressed out. My sweet husband got home from a long day at work, went straight upstairs, and hung my curtains for me. They are beautiful! It was one of those moments of giving that reminded me how lucky I am to have him in my life.

Here is a funny story for you. I was on the phone yesterday morning with a lady from church. We have been planning a dinner for the ladies at my church, and we were ironing out some details. We had been on the phone for a little over 30 minutes, when my little guy starts crying and telling me " I skinky!" I tell my friend I really need to get off the phone, and she says okay, but continues to talk... you know, the way we all do now and again. I pick my little guy up, thinking that might calm him down for a few minutes. NOPE! He starts crying harder. I tell my friend I am getting off the phone now, and say good bye. I take my baby upstairs to change him, and low and behold, I have poop all over my shirt. At this point I am completely overwhelmed by all that needs to be done for the dinner, my baby crying, and I have poop on my freshly showered self. I take a deep breath and say Someday this will be funny. I can picture my sweet mother laughing. All in a days work.

Just thought I would share a few joys from my life. I seem to focus mainly on my goals for weight loss on here, and as I haven't been having much success in that arena, I felt compelled to find success in other areas of my life and share those with you. I try to have a positive attitude in general, and hopefully, I can spread that positive vibe. Don't forget what really matters on your journey to being trim. Don't forget to live your life, and love those around you.

True! I think that just like kids sometimes have growth spurts in one domain and then another, sometime we can only focus on one area of our lives at a time. You are blessed to be enjoying raising your children, that's much more important than being skinny anyway. :)

I love people with a postive attitude, and I have several friends who are horrible for doing that to me on the phone (I've hung up on my fair share). emoticon for sharing!
