I am blogging just basically to reconnect with my Sparkpeople friends and get some more support on my "getting healthy" plan.
I'm a bit discouraged due to the scales and the inches just not moving very much in the past 3 months! I know I've gotten healthier in my eating and exercising, so I need to stay focused on that aspect, I guess. AND I know I've faced a lot of battles these past months that would have wiped out the average mother elephant!!
I would really like to be down 15 pounds by May 19, 2011. (159) I am flying to Colorado for my friend's 50th birthday celebration and think going out there weighing less, looking better and feeling better would be a big boost for myself! (AND... It is a little about me, too, you know!)
So... Ladies and Gentleman....
1. I am committed to eating as much as possible according to the Sparkpeople food plan
2. I am running/walking 3 -4 times per week
3. I will strength train 3 times per week
4. I will award myself every other week for the next 7 weeks with a pedicure, an outing, a neckace, earrings, and some new clothes when I'm closer to my goal of 159!!
I hope I can accomplish this goal. I keep going up and down, a little according to my emotions. We recently had a very sad set back and I noticed I gave up for just a few days!
The retreat I went on was simply awesome! I wish now, I could go back to it and eat up more of the encouragement and love that was available for me there! At least, now, I am more open to receiving than I was before!!
