Day 1 - a little mishap

I did great yesterday up until dinner last night. I went to get my car worked on right after I got off work last night and then to Wal-Mart. I didn't over-shop in Wal-Mart but as I was heading home, I kept thinking about how hungry I was. I caved and stopped at a favorite restaurant and ordered a greek chicken sandwich to go. The sandwich was probably a good choice as it had a chicken breast, cucumber slices, tomatoes and feta cheese. The homemade potato chips were the not-so-healthy choice. I made it a point to not down every single one of them so that I could share them with my hubby when I got home. He wasn't as impressed with them as I am. Overall, I only went over my calories by about 300 and my fat by just a few grams. Still better than most days when I'm not paying attention.

Today will be much better. I will plan my dinner so that I am not in the situation to want to eat anything and everything. My daughter's first track meet is tonight so I will leave straight from work. I will eat something before or take a package of nuts so that I won't be tempted to make a trip to the concession stand.
