V-Log Update!

making these v-logs are a big deal for me..you have no idea how video shy and how dorky I feel doing it...so I'm going out of my comfort zone for Sparkpeople....Praise God! :) I hope what i have to say helps someone to keep going on the weight loss journey!

    Hey there! Thanks for commenting....and yes, I remember... This is what I prayed for: To grow in Wisdom through this journey. Jesus is teaching me through all my failures and mistakes.
    As for the food suggestions...it's interesting, I do eat lots of nuts, beans... Although I have not eaten beans alot in the last 3 months......maybe cuz I was eating them like crazy all winter and got sick of them! hahah... but I still eat seeds already: Flax, Sunflower, Pumpkin,Sesame. AND I love nuts...i eat some everyday. :) AND I am considering Hemp Protein as an option....cause of the research I think it's good quality and it won't give me gas or plug me up. I just hope I can drink it! :P Thanks my Friend for the confirmation! emoticon

    I agree with DAYCAREMAMI, it's great that you've left your comfort zone. As I know nothing about the shred, I can't give any advice or tips there, but I'd like to suggest that you try going vegan for about a week, maybe two, just to mix it up a bit. You can still get plenty of protein (beans, and greens have lots too) and healthy fats (nuts and seeds). It might be enough to kick you off the plateau!

    I'm so glad to hear that you're not giving up, and that you're taking it one day at a time, learning along the way. That's how we come to know God better too! lol

    Wow...thanks Girl....i know, i was feeling alittle blah last week too. I think it was my allergies. But I'm okay now and I have a new hope and praying for a new vision of a new me that fits into my new normal! You just confirmed that I'm on the right track. Thanx Sweetie! emoticon

    I think you are awesome for going out of your comfort zone and posting these videos not only are they a good record of your journey but it is also inspiring and motivating to the rest of us going through the same thing. You are looking brighter and more energized! I say keep doing the 30 day shred maybe just kick it up a notch, hold a stretch a little longer, refine your movements, or go a little lower? Also remember muscle weighs more than fat, so keep tracking your progress by how you look, feel and how your clothes fit. emoticon
    I've been feeling blah this whole weekend but I gotta start practicing what I preach! Have a great week emoticon
