Today is my 3 year Sparkaversary

emoticon And I'm still trying to figure this all out. I'm 187.8 pounds today. I was 196 when I started SP. But, it is all still worth it. I've had ups and downs but I know eventually I will master this.

I'm trying, as we speak, to not go buy a cheeseburger and tater tots for lunch. What I brought for lunch doesn't sound good. I need to make the healthiest choice I can, RIGHT NOW! Maybe that choice is Subway, for today. It obviously is not the cheeseburger and tater tots. emoticon

The SP'ers who lose 80 pounds in their first year on SP frustrate me, because I haven't had the same success. I love to exercise and do it usually 4-5 times per week. However, I also love to eat. But I'm still here, still learning, and someday I will have all my emoticon in a row and be able to brag about losing 30 pounds on SP! emoticon

I agree it is a terribly difficult decision to make but like Lou and WITHJOI say, it is all about deciding what is more important. I was addicted to fast food but everytime I get a hankering for it I walk over to the refrigerator and look at a picture of myself before I started this journey. I then open the refrigerator door and eat something healthy! It definitely is getting much easier but there are still some moments when I have to take a deep breath and keep in mind what I am accomplishing here. You rock lady, keep on blogging!

BTW, congratulations on your three years! :)

Becoming bored with what we have to eat is often because we've been eating the same things. You've got the exercise part of the equation down, now need to redirect your focus on food. Most of us love to eat, but the success comes from determining what is more important, food or losing weight. Good luck with the decision. -- Lou

So, what did you have for lunch? Was it yummy?

I try to stay focused on all of the good choices I have made.

I also try to remember the "Eat to live, don't live to eat."

Helps me remember what the point is.

I hope you ended up with a day you are proud of.

Tonight is the Moxie Java night from 7-8pm if you want to join us. Your family is welcome to come too. It's the Moxie by the Home Depot in Nampa.

We do this each month on the 1st Monday night. If it fits your schedule some month, we'd love to meet you.

Hope your day went okay even with the temptations.
