Attitude Makeover!

Monday, April 04, 2011

I am in dire need of some more positivity in my life! Over the past few months I've started spiraling downhill into the depths of negativity. I've been busy and stressed, and stressed and busy and I'm not liking the things I'm thinking, saying or doing a lot of the time. Today I'm starting in on being more positive again. To give me some inspiration I'm going to be spending some time on the Random Acts of Kindness page: www.randomactsofkindness
.org/
. I'm also going to make sure I drink my water and eat good (things I've been slacking off on). I'm going in to the gym, but I haven't decided if I'm doing cardio, strength training or both.

Here's to a good start for the week!

Committing random acts of kindness [and generosity] might be the best way to 'tune up' our attitude, especially when combined with good eating, plenty of water and a great workout - good for you!!!

By doing one act of random kindness, you begin a domino affect amongst those who receive the kindness. It is a great way to develop positive feelings towards yourself. Think positive, be postitive.

One of my tactics is to be altruistic. I found this really helps reduce aggression, brings up empathy and makes you feel good. It's a great way to add a positive effect to our own lives as well as doing something helpful for another :)

Good luck! Being positive is something I have to work at as well so I know what a challenge it can be but the results are worth it.
