Slow, Steady, Committed and Consistent

After reading another popular blog by pinkhope this morning, I gained enough confidence in my choices over the past 21 days (beginning of Lent) to stick to my Thursday morning weigh-ins. I was pleased to see that I was down again, another 1.5 lbs. I weighed the most I ever have on March 9th - 168.5 and today it is 163.5. Finally, I am below my "beginning" weight from Dec? of 164. Amazing how easy it is to put the pounds on....
I am reflecting on what it takes to take it off and the words: slow, steady, committed and consistent come to mind. I encourage others to take these words and read PINKHOPE's blog today and hopefully you too will be inspired to give it a real try.
I do not sweat it out everyday - I have taken to enjoying spurts of activity and as-brisk-as-I-can 30 minute walks almost every day.
I can handle this pace - the exercise and the realistic food choices I am making.
I look forward to breaching the 150's but will take it as it comes.....
