Day 3 of 100 day challenge

Thursday, March 31, 2011

Once again I put off exercise until late evening. We had an early morning appt to see about windows way across town, so it was up and run. Then we spent the rest of the day actually ordering the windows, a bathtub, cork flooring for the master bedroom and bath.
Sounds easy, but we spent the whole day running from place to place and looking at different samples. The flooring we wound up buying was not the cheapest, but dh liked it the best.
Food was not good as we ate out lunch and dinner. Lunch I did try to behave, so ate 1/2 my sandwich and brought the other half and all the fries home to eat another time. Dinner at Red Lobster was a treat as my eldest son gave me a gift card at Christmas. I drank quite a bit of really nice white wine, ate coconut shrimp, my lobster tail and one scampi. I also ate my broccoli, but brought the seafood pasta alfredo home for another meal.
Tomorrow I stay home so food will be a lot better (especially if I give most of the leftovers to dh). Tomorrow I also want to exercise before 11 p.m.
However, at least I feel committed to the challenge, so if I screw up and have to exercise after 11 p.m. I will - I'll just try harder the next day to get my act in gear earlier.
Still not feeling great, but clearly I'm going to have this medical condition for a while (whatever it is) so I will not let it interfere with a healthy lifestyle. Actually, I think that trudging on the treadmill helps me a bit. At any rate, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL

We have been remodeling forever it seems but I do love it in a strange way. I would love to see pictures when it's done.

To me it is impossible to eat out and have good food. LOL. I love Red Lobster though. Your food sounded wonderful.

Exercise helps most of my medical conditions too so I force myself.

Woo hoo! You rock! I am so excited for you! So.... I hope you are doing a countdown. Definitely easier than counting up. Instead of day 3 you would be on day 98.. But it doesn't matter. You have a goal and you are making choices.

Thank you so much for your support. It has been a difficult time. Your spark gifts have made me smile.

As for all the reno stuff... hate it... love it.... and oh my the stress is something else. I am doing my latest project in little tiny bits with the hope I don't change my mind part way through. I need to redo my kitchen and have bought the backsplash tiles only. Slow decision making while I save up some money to do it right.
