CUPS of water vs. cups of water...

OK, so...trying to increase my water has been a challenge. I drink NO soda anymore. I actually don't even like it now. I do drink iced tea once in awhile...or light lemonade.
But daily, I actually do "flavored" water, because I can drink more that way. I try to make those "flavors" as healthy as I can. I have joint aches, so two bottles get Elations packets, with glucosamine and chondroitin...also some calcium, which I always seem to be short of anyhow. And since they are 50 ounce bottles, I also add a tube of ZipFizz to them, which has 2500mcg of Vitamin B12 and a teeny bit of caffeine, but not much. The third bottle has a dose of Pure Essence Labs Ionic-Fizz™ Magnesium Plus™ Raspberry Lemonade...because at 49, I have developed freaking restless leg syndrome and it seems to help. So, I mix half from the mag bottle and half from the Elations bottle over ice in both my cups...lather, rinse, repeat.
I have two plastic cups I got a Bed, Bath & Beyond that have decent sealing lids, hard plastic straws and they are mostly spill proof. I keep two of them full next to me all day. I drink as close to all 3 bottles as possible in a day. Which is almost 19 eight ounce "cups". I rarely make it to the entire 3 bottles...but! There's melted ice, or iced tea and usually a bottle of actual water in there somewhere in a day.
So, all this time, I thought they were 16 ounce cups and have tracked them that way. Yesterday I found those cups cheaper at Joanne's [yeah, the fabric store...go figure] for $2 less, so I got one. I looked at the tag and saw...it's 24 OUNCES! I compared it to my others...same size. All this time, when I thought I was drinking 8 cups? It was really 12. And when I thought I was drinking 12? EIGHTEEN! Sometimes I drink what I thought was 15 cups...which was actually 22.5 cups.
Well. I am stunned...and? Not sure what to do. It's obviously not hurting me...and I am sorta used to it now. I don't want to "cut back" on water...but...holy cow. So, for the moment, I guess I will just track it for what it is...and see if knowing it's actually more, rights itself, or if I really just drink that much normally...huh.
