Just keep trying!

I am still not as steady with tracking and working on my goals. I have a few new incentives though. First, my husbands 30th reunion is at the end of June. I would like to shed a few pounds before then. We will do a 30 mile group ride.

Also, this past Saturday, my friend and I did a group ride and I struggled as it was a steady incline. She finally, after several years, threw her opinion out there. She is petite and always has been.
She said that she feels that I am struggling because of my power to weight ratio on the hills. I am strong on the flat, but struggle on the hills. So, it is time to conquer the hills and get rid of a few extra pounds.

A finally note: There is a young gal who has discarded 80 or so pounds in 18 months. She changed her diet and is working on her yoga teacher training certificate. I mentioned something about losing weight, and she stopped me. She said that when we lose something we have the potential to find it again. She said that she is just getting rid of or shedding unwanted weight. Pretty good!!! :-)
