Worth every minute

Sunday, March 27, 2011

In Mexico I wore bikinis, sundresses, high heels, big silver earrings. It was heaven. It was worth every bit of all of it. Every bite I haven't eaten, every drop of sweat, every time I haven't eaten out. And I know I'll make my goal and I know I will stay there. We always say it's a lifestyle, but what I want is not just the lifestyle of healthy eating and fitness but the lifestyle of never having to say "that only looks good on thin people" - meaning not me. I want the lifestyle of feeling slinky in a sundress and heels and of feeling my muscles move under my clothes. And I want the lifestyle of plumping up a little on vacation and having no worries about being right back on track. I'm in such a good place today.

Well said! I was thinking the same thing good it is to know that things will go back to a nice, slim, good-feeling 'normal' after the fun has been had!
