My goal weight deadline coincides with the reunion of an old friend in September. I understand wanting to have all that poisonous negativity returned to sender. I'm looking forward to all that negativity that she force fed me returned to her in spades when I show up to dinner lookin' the finest she has ever seen me look. Revenge is sweet, or is it?
What if she is so shallow that my achievements still don't impress her and she still finds ways to be vicious? Will I let her shatter my confidence? My children are finally seeing me smile more, hug everyone in the family more, live more...will I allow her poison to steal that life I'm working so hard for?
I've determined come September I will meet my goal. I will do my best. I will meet up with this person I adore and does not return the sentiment. If she responds with support, we work it out. If she response with poison, well, what's one more healthy lifestyle change...the one where I say, "Goodbye"?

I truly hope that you know that you, YOU, are worth this healthy journey. If anybody has a problem with it, that's their problem. You rock!
