So I lied yesterday and did actually change the ticker to reflect 155. Might at well stay honest right? And of course this morning when I stepped back on the scale it read 154. I hate you TOM. But thanks for taking that pound back, I appreciate that.
This morning's breakfast was delectable. I had my whole oats with 1 tbsp flax and 1 splenda, and topped it with a tbsp slivered almonds and 6 perfect, dark red, sliced strawberries. I made sure to show it to everyone so they could be jealous. With my morning coffee included we are still talking under 300 calories. (Score!)
I feel good today. It must have something to do with all the motivating spark blogs I have been reading. I realize that my #1 job is to take care of me. Hell, if it is my only "real" job then I better be really freaking good at it. I am not letting excuses get the best of me. Also, summer is coming and I know slim&fit me is WAY hotter than excuses-for-being-overweight me. Also, that b*tch is lazy.
Last night I made asparagus fries. I got the recipe from my sister.
pre-heat oven to 400.
sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder
15 min each side.
voila! asparagus fries.
(I use non stick spray to get the flavors to stick.)
I ate a lot of them. No regrets. And no, my pee doesn't smell or look funny today.
