31 Weeks Down, 9 Till Due Date

I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by. It has been pretty uneventful as far as my pregnancies go.
Back at the end of January, I had an ultrasound, and was told that it looks like we are having another girl. My little Jacob, is going to be the boy center of the girl sandwich. He and his big sister, Kathryn, are ecstatic. Had a couple of hiccups with the ultrasound. First, while they are saying girl, it's more from the perspective that the tech said, "I don't see boy parts, so we're going with girl." Needless to say, I'll have a boy name handy. ha ha
Found out that this kiddo was breech, not really a big deal at the time of the ultrasound, but it's something to watch since the baby already has the cord around her neck twice. I also have a marginally low anterior placenta, so I might be in for my first c-section. We'll know more when I have the 37 week ultrasound. If things have remained the same, we'll do a scheduled c-section since they would rather not wait until I go into labor. In the meantime, I have to pay extra attention to movement, but she's been really active a lot lately.
As expected, I failed my one hour glucose test with a 163. Normally that's really not too bad, and most pass the 3 hour, but I took the 3 hour yesterday, and will probably fail it. I failed my one hour the last pg with a 148, and was borderline on my 3 hour, so my dr. thinks I probably won't be able to avoid it this go round. Fortunately, since I knew that this was a possibility, I have already been super careful as it is. I have only gained 3 pounds this whole pregnancy. My dr. is very pleased. (Not to mention, so am I) Looks like I'll continue eating more protein, less carbs, and taking more walks. Good thing I'm not a huge sugar eater to begin with. :)
So, I'm in the home stretch now. It's getting pretty exciting around here with all the baby stuff buying, and my major house overhaul. I've made 3 trip to Goodwill last week after tackling the kids' rooms. Now it's time to move on to mine. Oh, and some of the best news yet, I can still wear most of my regular clothes! lol
