Thinking about eating

Monday, March 21, 2011

All I can think about this morning is food. I ate my protein and my banana already. If I dip into the afternoon snacks, I won't have anything left later, and then I'll go scrounging which always ends up bad.
I'm not really hungry. My stomach isn't growling. I just keep thinking I want to eat something. Of course, the something I want to eat isn't anything healthy. emoticon The other thought that keeps running through my head is "I could walk over to the coffee shack and get something creamy, warm and yummy." Which wouldn't necessarily be too bad, except stuff like that usually throws me off course for the rest of the day. Sigh.
Blogging so I don't eat. One hour, 45 minutes until Yoga. I can make it. I can make it. I can make it. emoticon

It often is a second by second battle until we get used to eating every few hours. It can be tough but find ways to think of things other than food. -- Lou

    I hope you made it!
I have the same feelings, too. I usually will chew on a stick of gum and that will usually take my mind off wanting to put some food in my mouth. Be strong!

I think we've all had days when we're preoccupied with food. I'm sure you can power through it!

I hope you make it. I was so off this weekend. Too many projects and too many grumpy kids around. And PMS. Stressful. I didn't like anything in the house, but figured it out. Just wish I had planned. Sounds like you have a plan. My plan today is to eat 1 packet of oatmeal about every hour and then later switch to veggies. I seem to do so much better when I get a few packets of oatmeal and start my day right. Hope it works today. I always seem to buckle the most when I have to leave the house. I have to run my son to the doctor in a few minutes. Hoping I can hold it together while I am gone & not go through a drive-thru and blow it. I hate PMS. It screws me up so much.
