Week 1 Thoughts

Not my best week. Ugh. I'm facing my suckitude right now. Which is a good thing. I'm not running away and saying "Yep, had a great week!". Because I didn't.
I gave in to the evil food fairies more than once and paid the price. Even though I did some great cardio this week, I didn't eat right, and therefore, didn't lose anything. Serves me right. I accept the responsibility and rather than dwelling on it, I am going to move on ahead.
The challenges this week were good. They definitely took me out of comfort zone and now that I know what to expect, I feel I can do this. It's going to be harder than I thought, but I can do it.

    While I know a few pounds off on the scale would be nice to see, you still rocked it like a hurricane (you too YCA!). Becoming more active is an extremely important part to becoming a healthier you... and you did that! You will work up to everything in due time because you have the motivation and desire. Suddenly you will WANT to eat better because all that exercise makes your body crave it. You're great! I love your honesty. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat... focus on your health, not the numbers and you'll have an easier time staying motivated. You WILL feel better, you'll feel stronger and that will keep you going... and then those pounds will start melting away to make room for your self confidence and utter awesomeness ;) YOU CAN DO IT!!! I hope this week is good for you!

    My eating habits were not that great either. When I actually write down the things I eat in a day, I sure realize I do a lot of mindless eating plus the things that I choose to eat are horrible. I am around food alot, so it adds up even if its a little bit here and a little bit there. My serving sizes are way too big alos. I went shopping yesterday, so this week I am definitely more prepared! Good luck to you!

    I am in the same boat ... I totally crashed and burned this week. And it hurt. A lot. But this is another week - and another opportunity for us to totally rock it like a hurricane!!
