As per my previous blog I have been on a new eating plan and not particularly sure it has done that much.
My legs are becoming much more toned from the workouts I have done and I am really liking the results. Just above my knee is losing fat and i am starting to see some shape coming through from the outer line of my quads. The inside of my legs are not feeling as wobbly either which is great.
My shoulders are also showing some really good improvement. I was watching myself doing seated cable rows and I could actually see the rear delts working, it was amazing to think that was me and my muscles are coming through.
I am starting to step up my weights now which is good and although still not lifting heavy, I am loving the changes I am getting and I am getting a great burn from all of my workouts!
I still feel flabby and fat around my midsection but I guess this will be the last place to change, and is going to be the result of me eating correctly.
Getting on to this I have been recommended a book from my trainer called Mastering The Zone by Barry Sears. I looked it up and read an extract and it seems very interesting indeed. Needless to say I have ordered myself a copy and will be working my way through them as soon as they arrive.
In a nutshell, the diet is based on maintaining a nutritional balance for the body, which then in turn maintains the hormonal balance of the body, which in turn maintains all the systems and functions of the body. It is a very interesting concept which tells you all about what nutrition is required for the body to maintain itself in a superhealthy state. Cant wait till it arrives.
Yesterday myself and my other half went to the IFBB Expo in London to watch the strongman and have a look around. It was really good. The Strongman competition was brilliant and there were loads of really great people there. A lot of them were enhanced in one way or another and a lot of testosterone flying around and even more egos.
I did feel a bit of a frump stood around all these amazingly beautiful women and I so want to be a part of it. My other half was enjoying himself too!
Anyway, it was a great eye opener and nice to see what it is like at these events, it has certainly given me some new motivation to be a part of these events! It might be very vain but I want to walk through there looking amazing and feeling great too.
Great things happening at the minute and looking forward to where things will take me...
