Hope you are all doing well

Sunday, March 20, 2011

I hope that all of you friends here are doing well. I think of you often. I am well and very thankful for my blessings. I'm worried about my mother because she is becoming more confused. She is still able to live on her own, but now I have to pay all of her bills. I don't mind that or anything that I do for her; I just hate to see the deterioration of her health. It is sad.

I've been stress eating and I have to stop doing that. I usually cook on Sunday, making lunches to take to work during the week. Today, I plan to make Hungry Girl's white pizza recipe. I also have been making her Crunchwrap Supreme recipe. Mmmmm...

I am enjoying spring. The dogwood trees in our yard are budding and soon the blooms will open. Yesterday, we worked in our yard and trimmed several plants.

Have a wonderful week, friends!

I feel for you. I was the manager in an unit for people suffering from dementia. It was heartbreaking for the families. They used to tell me that this was not their true parent, they had lost their parent when the dementia took over, there were some days I could have cried! The only thing is that as the dementia progresses, the person with dementia does not realize what is happening and therefore not hurting from it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

sorry to hear about your Mom. I have a friend that was just diagnosed as having the beginnings of dementia. She is only a couple of years older than I am (55).

I wish you all the best for the future. I will say a prayer or two today for your family. God Bless!
